If you can see, there is a story in the background of the piece. Generally it's about this girl who got so engulfed by reality that she had no time to read (which she loved to do). But when it got too much, the books came and rescued her from a life that was going down a stressful, unnecessary path.

I Couldn't stop at just the "Dragon Keeper." I consider that piece one of my finest works and i wanted to do another one since I liked the idea so much.

Especially with this piece being the first of many wonderful ideas, Julie Bell and Borris Vallejo have wonderful works that I have learned to fall in love with. Having their work as references to my pieces, I've found that I have learned more about drawing than I have ever absorbed before. They are like teachers I've never met and I truly wish to thank them in person for their wonderful work that inspires me so much!
